The location is good since the island is small and all Walkable. The unit needs A LOT of updating, especially the bathrooms and air conditioning. We could not enjoy being inside the living room because of the immense heat. There is no AC in that room and we refused to leave the bedroom door open since the AC would not even get that cold and it was rough to sleep at night in a hot room.

Thank you, Allie, for being our guests. There's a small clarification to add to your comment: the ACs in the three bedrooms are regularly maintained and work perfectly. There isn't actually an AC in the main room because guests like to leave the door wide open to enjoy coming and going from the terrace. This room is a living area, not a bedroom, and no one is supposed to sleep on the sofa, which isn't meant for that purpose.
Wonderful stay! Great location and lovely deck to hang on. Abner was very quick to respond when we had a question. One thing to note (since it’s only written at the end of the listing) is the pool is shared with other units (not private).
These folks were great. The manager is nearby, friendly and very hospitable. Quick responses to communications. There was a small maintenance issue, and it was wrapped up quickly. We liked the location…it is close to all the restaurants and nightlife, but it’s in a quiet spot. The property is fenced in, nicely landscaped, tidy, and a beautiful space to just hang out by the pool.
Abner was the best host! Proactive in providing information for planning our stay and had very quick responses to anything we needed help with. Amanda's place is the best on the island - so clean, comfortable, quiet and within walking distance of anything you would need. I would recommend to anyone!
We loved our stay here. The space was comfortable, clean, and darling. We stayed as a family with two kids, and an adult couple for which the layout was perfect. The two bedrooms connected by the bathroom (that open to the pool) worked great for our family, and other two adults had a private space of their own. The outdoor porch and pool area were absolutely wonderful, a beautiful mix of sun and shade with plenty of places to lounge. We all fit around the table comfortably for our meals. The kitchen was stocked with all the basics for cooking, and they provide drinking water. We also appreciated that both bath and pool towels were provided! The local manager is lovely, and great with communication. One small thing to mention is that since it is located on Front Street, there is a bit of road noise. We all agree that it’s not a deal breaker, just something to note. We would absolutely stay here again!
We had 3 couples. Had a great stay. Our first time to Caye Caulker. It certainly will not be our last. Our accommodations were exactly what we needed. Everything was walkable and had a wonderful time. People were so friendly and kind.
Amanda’s Place was great!! Perfectly located on the island to everything! House was clean and had everything we needed! Enjoyed the pool as well!!
This is a sweet but very basic place located in the heart of town. The pool was a big plus and there was a sweet outside area. Our only issue was that it was a bit loud at night and the room was kind of light, which made it hard to sleep but…this is a party town.
Abner was super welcoming and communicative and helped make our family Christmas on the island super seamless!
The rooms were clean, close to restaurants, bars, grocery. The hosts were very responsive and helpful booking our taxi and making sure that we had everything we needed.
Stayed here for three nights, the place was expensive, I thought the service was good, but I was disappointed. First, the sheets in the room were not changed, there was someone else's hair on one bed, one bed was full of sand, the kind that you need to scoop up with your hands, and the tables were all dusty. Second, the bathroom in the next room of the kitchen is leaking, the bedroom floor is full of water, it is not repaired in time, and the bathroom has a bad smell. Third, the Host was very slow to respond, said he would arrive within ten minutes, but either took half an hour or didn't come at all, very bad. Fourth, the kitchen supplies of the house are not complete, cooking oil is not provided. In other B&Bs, even low-priced ones, basic cooking oil, salt, black pepper, coffee, tea are provided. This one said they couldn't provide it, and we had to figure it out ourselves. Also, the kettle was broken, and it took a long time to get a good one after we asked. Fifth, the service attitude is poor, and bicycles are not provided. Basically, they are provided on the island. This one really has no service. Everyone must choose carefully.

Here are a few clarifications regarding your remarks: - Our response time to all your numerous messages was a maximum of 10 minutes. - You never mentioned any leaks in the bathroom, and perhaps if you hadn't been doing your laundry, there wouldn't have been water everywhere. Your soaking wet clothes, which you carelessly hung up on the outdoor light's electrical cord! - In fact, your first comment upon arriving at the accommodation was to ask for a lightbulb to be replaced because you didn't like it! - All your requests were fulfilled, except for the lightbulb, of course, and the coffee and cooking oil, which are not part of what we provide, as guests don't necessarily have the same preferences (please reread our listing several times, if necessary). - Bicycles are not included in our rental because the accommodation is centrally located and everything is within walking distance – irrelevant since we don't provide bicycles! (Please reread our listing if necessary.) - Thank you for leaving us a dirty kitchen (raw chicken lying around), unwashed dishes, and trash everywhere. - Our neighbors even told us they had to ask you several times to be quieter because it was late, between 1 and 2 am, and they couldn't sleep! After speaking with the neighbors, it's clear that people like you are no longer welcome here, or on our island. Therefore, this review is completely pointless.
We really enjoyed our stay at Amanda’s place. It was exactly what we expected and hoped for. Private even though on a public street because of all the greenery. Loved the pool and spend several days just hanging out here
