Great place to stay and great location to walk to restaurants and the beach. David may be the host, but HANS is the one who communicates with you and the one you ask for anything you need. David was not in the picture. Place was great, great location, easy to get to, beach is really close as well with a very short walk. Beds are not comfortable at all. If you book a downstairs unit, you will hear loud walkers from the ceiling. What I would have wish to have seen (comparing to past places that we’ve stayed at) salt and pepper, A welcome package with the basic hygiene items, Ice maker that works (unit 3 did not). Items for enjoying the beach: couple beach chairs and an umbrella, maybe a small tote bag for personal items. When you decide to book a stay at this truly amazing place with the great location. Just keep in mind you may need to pack these items and or buy them at the local store.

Of the four days we stayed, we had water problems for three days: there was no hot water for two days, and we had water outages for three days. Having a baby wasn't easy when it came to meals and showers. There were also cockroaches.

It is unfortunate that you were here during the water shortage. The water is supplied by the municipal ASADA, I can not control when they have problems and shut the water supply off for repairs. The shut down affected hundreds of homes, hotels and Condo's not just our complex. As far as the cockroaches in the Villa, we consistantly receive 5 stars for cleanliness and fumigate on a regular basis, you are in a jungle environment. Please do not imply that we run a bad or dirty operation because you are upset due to the water shortage.

This villa was extremely clean. The pool was a beautiful oasis, and a short walk to the beautiful beach and sunsets. The caretaker Hans was very helpful too. Somethings to consider. Having a vehicle is a must. The location is not friendly if you do not have a car to get groceries etc. Also, this Airbnb has nothing

We spent a week here during spring break with our family of teenagers and were super impressed. We thought the whole place was nicer and bigger than it showed in the pictures. It was clean and had lots of room. Hans the property manager was very helpful. I’d totally recommend this property for future guest. Thanks David for the accommodation. Dave B

The beach is beautiful and you can walk to other beaches. The resteraunts also were walkable. We had a vehicle but others in the complex did not. The pool was lovely and maintained. We had a beautiful 7 days and hope to return next year for a longer stay.

The place is great, near a beautiful beach! But the way to get to the accommodation was perilous without a 4x4! There was a lot of dishes missing for cooking, and lights didn't work as well as the coffee maker and mentioning nothing was changed!

The condition of the public road can be rough, especially after last November when we received close to one meter of rain causing big wash outs in places. Most cars here are not 4x4 and they do just fine. I do not know who you asked to replace a lightbulb? We have extra coffee makers, dishes and light bulbs in our supply room, if we had known you had issues with any of these things we would have gladly taken care of them. It is unfortunate that something so easy to fix has left a unpleasant memory on your stay with us. I hope there is a chance you come back and see us again in the future. David

Fantastic time staying there - it's a very private and well built place with nice AC and amenities - so close to everything and particularly the beach. On site staff was fantastic to deal with and responded to any issues (of which there were few) very quickly.

Our experience at Villas del Sol was not very pleasant. Starting with the lack of directions to arrive and the lack of warning for the conditions of the road. The room was not only not ready but we were asked to leave while someone mop the floor and finish the bathrooms. Internet didn’t work and we were told to use from a different Apt, which limited our use to spotty service in the kitchen only. We rely on the wifi connection for our trip and organizing our days, but that was impossible to accomplish during our stay. Kitchen was not clean and even though washer and dryer were there, the one time we tried to use the dryer, it shutdown electricity… Overall, not great experience

We apologize for your experience at Villa del Sol. We had a staff member out sick for a few days and your arrival was unforutaely overlooked. We finished cleaning and had you in your Vill an about an hourand a half. Our wether this past month was epic as we had nearly one meter of rain in the month of November. This amount of rain causes flooding which results in bad roads, causes power outages, causes internet issues etc. Our staff issues have been addressed internally, the issues with roads, power outage during your clothes washing, and internet problems are beyond our control. David’s place was perfect for what we needed. Hans, the property manager, was extremely helpful. It was pouring when we arrived. Hans reached out to tell us which route to avoid in order to ensure a safe ride.

Great location with a short walk to the beach. Less than 2 miles to walk into the beach town. Private ish back patio overlooking the monkeys in the trees during breakfast. Nice to have two separate bathrooms.
