Very grateful for the beautiful space we had for 5 days. Very cozy, they solved a couple of things we had in the house, very attentive in responding quickly, lots of utensils in the kitchen that make the family trip much easier. Everything is very nice, we are very happy and grateful.

We stayed for a month at Ellen’s place and it was perfect! Comfortable for 3 adults and 2 children. The main living area on the first floor is cozy but the bedrooms upstairs are spacious and comfortable. The place felt safe, secure, and was walkable to everything in town. The kids used the lovely pool every afternoon. I worked most days in the apartment and the WiFi worked great. The washer and dryer came in super handy and worked well. The kitchen was fairly well equipped for cooking and dining in. Parking was available around the exterior of the building. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

The airbnb was clean with ceiling fans and a/c. It was tended by a husband wife team that really cared for the unit. Unit was centrally located to beach, shopping and restaurants - walkable The pool was a jem too! Lush vegetation surrounded it. And fortunate to use everyday

The unit is close to everything. Grocery store is just a short walk, the beach a short walk and lots of restaurants to pick from. Every evening we had margaritas on the beach watching the beautiful sunset. Tamarindo is one of our favorite places in the world and this was a good place to stay with a pool, beach towels, washer and dryer, good kitchen and comfortable living area. Note to anyone renting this unit, if you don't do stairs realize there are three stories of tiled steps to the top master bedroom, which we didn't mind even though we are seniors as it's good exercise. It's a great bedroom with AC and a balcony and bathroom. We were very comfortable there. The rental agency is super helpful and quickly responsive. We had our transport from the airport set up with them and when our shuttle was late, we just called Kattia and she took care of it promptly. Even an email on Sunday morning was answered within minutes. Ellen is a person you can trust. The location is fantastic.

Cozy, close to everything walking distance.

My husband, myself, and our three young adult children stayed at Ellen’s place for a week. The Airbnb was just as Ellen described. It is a townhouse condo that looks out on pretty palm trees and the pool. There are 3 full baths plus a half bath on the first floor. They layout was perfect for us and we enjoyed have shared living space, the kitchen with table and chairs, and the washer dryer. You could easily walk to the beach and to town. Ellen gave us fabulous recommendations for things and restaurants in Tamarindo. We also utilized her property manager to arrange airport transportation and a private chef one night. We loved Tamarindo and I recommend Ellen and her place.

Ellen has a management company look after her guests. Kattia from Horizons was amazing. All the local staff on site for gardening and security were incredible people. Ellen’s place is in need of a couple of things, but we have been to Costa Rica many times and our expectations were met with her property. If you are looking for 5 star on the beach this is not it. If you are looking for a cozy and quaint location, with a small and beautiful courtyard and pool area with a 5 minute walk to the beach and town, then this place is for you. Glad we found Ellen’s property it suited our needs for a great family vacation.

Great place, clean and close to lots.

My family enjoyed living in your home this summer. Spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms were a great treat. Awesome location to restaurants and stores. Well stocked with every day items in the kitchen.

Great place in great area. Close to beach and restaurants. Everything we were looking for. Looking forward to coming back!

This space is perfect - close to beaches, restaurants, shopping…. Would definitely stay here again
