We had a wonderful stay at Cielo Ranch Reserve! The location is absolutely beautiful—private, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning scenery, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The owners were incredibly responsive, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Their hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Both the house and the loft are modern, beautifully designed, and exceptionally clean. Everything was well maintained and thoughtfully prepared, creating a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We ate at Rosey's Restaurant every night during our visit, and the food was delicious. It quickly became our favorite meals of the trip. We highly recommend Cielo Ranch Reserve to anyone looking for a private, comfortable, and memorable Costa Rica getaway. We would love to return!

Paul's place is uniquely wonderful. There's a peacefulness that is hard to put into words. We loved that we got to stay on the farm, explore the land, and eat great food right on location. Paul and his family are nearby to answer questions or share about their latest farm project. We walked around and watched the monkeys, floated in the pool while toucans flew overhead, went to sleep listening to frogs, and woke up to beautiful sunrises. Highly recommend ordering dinners there and eating in the beautiful covered dining patio.

Our family of 10 stayed in this amazing place. It was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed and we have traveled quite a bit. Paul and his family were super responsive , friendly and helpful. The tour of his ranch is not to be missed! Paul and his dad were filled with interesting information about the ranch. Rosie's cooking was the best- the breakfast had lots of choices and was so good. The taco dinner we had one night was the best meal we have had in Costa Rica. There were so many beautiful birds everywhere and we saw monkeys up close one day at breakfast. The bedrooms were spacious and well supplied. The kids loved the pool. The worst part was having to leave this beautiful place and this wonderful family! We all highly recommend staying here- you will be treated like family.

Our stay was as close to perfect as possible. Paul went above and beyond for any need we possibly had and breakfast was icing on the cake for sure. Made the entire stay one to remember.

Paul and Rosie made our Costa Rica trip unforgettable! From the moment we booked, they helped plan every detail, including transportation, excursions, and activities on the property. Everything was seamless, and Paul checked in with us each evening to review the next day’s plans and make sure we had everything we needed. We ate every meal at Rosie’s Kitchen, and every dish was incredible—fresh, delicious, generous portions, homemade breads and cheeses, fresh-pressed juices, and even a birthday cake Rosie made for our friend! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and secluded—the perfect getaway. Our group of seven adults had plenty of space, the beds were comfortable, everything was spotless, and the AC kept the rooms cool. We made memories that will last a lifetime, thanks to Paul and Rosie. Don’t waste another minute searching—book this place. You won’t regret it!

Our family had a great time at Casa Cielo. Paul, Rosita, and Bill took excellent care of us, from setting up fun activities to providing delicious meals at Rosita’s. The property is amazing, so beautiful and peaceful. It was incredible to look out at the jungle from the infinity pool. The Jungle House and Casita Loft were very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. We spent a day enjoying the pool and walking the trails. Paul helped arrange waterfall rappelling, ziplining, and a hanging bridge tour. The activities were all a lot of fun and located approximately an hour from the property. Paul also provided detailed directions to ensure we took the best routes to and from each activity. It was nice to start each day with breakfast at Rosita’s. The fresh fruit, juices, and meals were all delicious. We had wood-fired pizza one evening and a family-style dinner another night. Rosita is an amazing cook! We also did a bit of cooking ourselves and the house is well equipped.

This was the best stay ever. Paul is amazing, and we are so grateful for him. We are going to plan a trip back and just stay at Paul's for a week. I would seriously consider getting married here. There is so much land. The Airbnb is FLAWLESS. Not to mention - breakfast is included. It is the best, homemade breakfast ever. Everything is so beautiful. So many towels, the kitchen, bathrooms, everything spotless. You can tour the farm with Paul, and then feed cows. I could stay here for a year it was seriously the best stay ever. I will recommend this place to EVERYONE. I recommend if anyone just wants to get away, and be in the jungle, listening to birds and swimming in a waterfall pool that views the jungle - this is your place. Not even to mention he helps plan every excursion if you book here. Our schedule was jam packed with the best activities ever. No review I write will ever justify how perfect this place was. Our stay at Paul’s place was the best part of our trip! The house is beautiful, the kids loved the pool, the food at Rosita’s on site was delicious, and you are immersed in nature. Paul was very responsive to questions and he planned and booked all our activities based on our preferences. The house is a bit of a drive to most activities, but we wanted the privacy and it was well worth it. We definitely recommend staying at Paul’s place.

Absolutely no possible way we could have had a better experience. We were a group that of 8 -four 20 something’s and four 60 something’s- celebrating a belated 60th and an exciting 25th. Paul and Rosie made us feel at home and welcome -starting from a warm welcome, mornings complete with delicious breakfast and daily scheduled adventures Better than great hosts -we left feeling like we had new friends. We recently stayed at Casa Cielo with a multi-generational family group of 12 people- this was the best Airbnb experience we have had. I would have thought it would be impossible for Paul and Rosie and their place to live up to the perfect reviews but they do so and more. The home is amazing, the grounds are beautiful, the pool is wonderful and on top of that Rosie’s food is outstanding and Paul is incredibly helpful with booking, directions and advice throughout. Paul helped us make some tour bookings which made the process smooth, and the highlight of the trip for many of us was the paid ranch tour where we got to see the reforestation project, teak forest, learn about the local flora and fauna and then enjoyed learning to press sugarcane followed by a delicious lunch. Would recommend. If you are staying in this area with a large-ish group then you should not hesitate in booking this place.

Our kids said this was their favorite home we stayed at in Costa Rica, and we agreed. Two nights wasn’t enough. The home was beautiful, their home restaurant was an amazing touch with delicious food, and they were extremely helpful. They took us on a tour of their property, let our kids help with milking, etc. Fabulous experience- couldn’t recommend a stay there more.

This property is beyond incredible. The Jungle House offers serene privacy, beautiful accommodations, and the option to add full‑service resort elements if you want them. The hiking trails are accessible for all ages, and we saw sloths, howler monkeys, and countless birds — even parrots — right on the property. Watching monkeys play in the trees during breakfast is something we’ll treasure forever. Rosita’s meals were outstanding, from fresh fruit and pressed juices to thoughtful dinners with gluten‑free and vegan options. Paul’s planning was flawless — from VIP access to attractions to parking, sights, and local restaurant recommendations, every detail was seamless and made our stay even more special. The home is immaculate and perfectly located, with La Fortuna’s attractions just a beautiful 30–40 minute drive away. We truly wish we were still there. Book this place; you will be blown away. Our party of 6 had an incredible stay here! The location was a drive from the airport, but absolutely worth it. The views were great, totally secluded, and Paul and Rosita are amazing hosts. Paul helped us with activities, and we ate breakfast and dinner at Rosita’s every day. I had to tell Paul he is basically the guy from the old Dos Equis ads “the most interesting man in the world”. He taught us so much about the trees, birds, animals, and everything that happens on the property. He is really an expert on all things Costa Rica! Nice to have help planning drives and things to see along the way to where we were going. This was our first trip to Costa Rica but certainly not our last, and hopefully we will be back at this property one day!

I cannot say enough - Paul and Rosita are sweet, generous, fun, helpful hosts. The place is gorgeous. Rosita is a fabulous chef and Paul makes a mean apple pie! We loved everything about this stay.

Came here for a bachelorette trip with me and my friends all I can say was this place was absolutely beautiful. I wish I could post some pictures to share with everyone how beautiful this Airbnb was from the views, to the sounds of the nature surrounding us. the restaurant on site,was absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to come back and show the rest of my family and soon to be husband this amazing place.
