The location is fantastic: the beach and the park are a 5-minute walk away! The apartment is comfortable and quiet. Fans and air conditioning that work perfectly. Parking is an undeniable bonus. Your vehicle is protected, and you never need to pay for parking. The patio is beautiful In addition, Andrea was very responsive and pleasant. I thank her and recommend her place.

You cannot beat the location of this apartment—as close as one can get to both the beach and the national park. The apartment is nothing fancy, but it is clean and has everything you’d need for a comfortable stay (including beach towels—which were really handy). We loved having a washer and dryer in the unit. The outdoor shower was wonderful. We saw tons of birds from the balcony and back windows (including a pair of scarlet macaws) and a group of white-faced monkeys came by frequently. Cannot recommend this AirBnB highly enough.

Great place and don't worry if it feels a bit odd driving down Beach trail ("road") with the vendors all lined upp: it is the correct way. The space is nice with an abundance of wildlife just outside the balcony. Most people, as us, mainly come for the national park (100 m walk) but the beach is nice when you walk a bit (10.000 Colones for the "tent" with deckchairs and there's also many things to do in the surrounding areas. Our top recommendation is "El Santurario Canopy Tour" If your here for some kind of celebration the "Restaurante Puerto Escondido" is top notch. Other simpler places that we found very good were "Bar Y Restaurante Relax" and "Bar & Restaurant El Chante del Parque"; all within walking distance. Practical that there is a shop (Joseth Super Mercado) just before the entrance. Would definitely return to stay in this cozy apartment again. Bravo!

Very pleasant and comfortable accommodation. Ideally located for visiting Manuel Antonio Park and the beaches. The possibility of being able to park a vehicle is a big plus. I'm receiving the accommodation.

The problem here was not the place or the location, it was the loss of power. The first day it was corrected within an hour. The second, was bad. No AC or power. No storm. Had to relocate to another site in the dark, losing a full evening of vacation. I wouldn’t chance it again.
Host Response
Unfortunately, it was an external problem beyond my control that in this case had to be fixed by the electricity provider. As I explained to you, your son, and the Airbnb executive over and over again, on the day in question there was a lot of rain in the Manuel Antonio area that caused the power outages.

Very nice location. The beach and Manuel Antonio Park are really 2 minutes walking distance. A small supermarket is within walking distance, as are a few restaurants. Private parking is available.

We had a beautiful stay. We were able to see several little animals that came to visit. It also has quick access to the beach. Highly recommended.

You really cannot beat the location - so easy to walk to the National Park and the public beach. Shuttle drivers had a hard time finding the alleyway or they could not easily drive down it because of people, vendors etc. The place was spacious, the beds and sofa were comfortable and the AC (only in bedrooms) was great. The washer/dryer was very handy as was the outdoor shower at the base of the stairs that we used to wash sand off our feet. The downside is the general aged and worn condition (especially the bathroom), which has more to do with the age of the buildings and the difficulty of remodeling in that area. And while clean, there were many tiny ants in the kitchen and so we did not cook or eat inside. Due to being in the backyard of a rainforest, there were huge ants on the outdoor stairs (luckily those stayed outside) and on our last night there was a massive roach (probably came in under the front door which has a very large bottom gap).
Host Response
Although I don't share your point of view, we always take feedback very seriously. As you mentioned, we are located next to Manuel Antonio Park in a tropical country, and we have deer, 3 species of monkeys, sloths, and butterflies that visit our yard. There are also insects that are generally not pleasant, such as ants, gnats, mosquitoes, spiders, and more; they are part of the ecosystem, which is mostly beyond our control due to certain regulations in the area. Regarding personal hygiene supplies, we provide the most basic ones, such as hand soap and body wash, as described in the listing. In our 9 years in the hosting business, we have found that shampoo is a personal preference for each guest.

This is the perfect place to stay in Quepos if you want to go to the beach an Manuel Antonio. It’s minutes from both. It felt safe and was walkable to some great restaurants. Having ac and a washer dryer with kids at the beach is a total must. Hot water was a total bonus. Her instructions to get there are spot on… follow them. During the day when the park is open there are vendors selling stuff on beach trail which makes it a little crowded by car but you are definitely allowed to drive down it from the direction she tells you.. not the other direction. Her balcony looks over a small river and some trees which is great for wildlife spotting too.

Thank you, Andrea, for making this very nice apartment available. It's in a really great location and truly very quiet! We enjoyed all the amenities, especially the air conditioning (it was very hot), the washing machine, and, most importantly, the dryer (laundry is very difficult to dry if you leave it hanging out to dry because of the climate), and the terrace, which allowed us to see deer, raccoons, iguanas, toucans, and other species whose names we don't know (even a crab tried to come up and visit us!!) We don’t know how he did it ^^). Finally, the parking space is a real plus! We never had to use the car during our stay, and it’s quite difficult to find free parking nearby. Note that the nearby bus is really very cheap! We would highly recommend Andrea's apartment if you want to enjoy Manuel Antonio Park and the local beaches.

Apartment was close to the beach and close to the national park so we could go there by walk. Small but we had everything what we needed. Communication with Andrea was perfect.
