Martin

The property was beautiful and well-maintained. It felt like an oasis amidst the palm trees. Lots of communal space for our large family group (20 + an infant) as well as many beautiful places for privacy. The nine bedrooms (three with ensuite baths) were supplemented by additional beds (4) in the spacious upper hallway areas. The warm pool was a magnet for the kids and adults alike. Martin was a fine host: kind, and attentive to our needs but not intrusive. We always felt well-cared for. We used the chef for 5 dinners and were not disappointed. The cleaning and exterior maintenance staff were also excellent. I agree with Martin's recommendation on the listing that having a vehicle is important, at the very least for grocery shopping in nearby Puerto Morales. All-in-all, we had a wonderful week and were delighted with the accommodations. It was even larger and more beautful than the description and photos. Highly recommended.

Martin was a great host! The house was great for our team offsite. The house was clean, and everything was as he stated. The grounds are well maintained. You are close to several things, but it does require a car or taxi, which Martin graciously arranged for us. Martin was responsive and just a text away, We also took advantage of the Chef Mercedes offered by the house. I guarantee you will not be disappointed and it was the highlight of the trip. The food was amazing and authentic. She took great pride in her presentation and makes an outstanding Margherita. The beach was a short walk away. However, we had to walk pretty far along the beach before we passed the resorts.

The Villa was excellent, it was a perfect getaway for the 13 members of our family. It’s close to the beach and very private. Martin was on top of everything that we needed. This is the place to stay if you want the true Mexican Villa experience. We took advantage of having a dinner prepared for us and it was great. It’s also close to Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen if you need to do some shopping or other excursions. We will definitely stay here again.

Wow! What an amazing trip! We stayed from a Friday to Monday at this amazing property- wish we could’ve stayed longer! The pictures don’t do this place justice. There are two large houses on the property with the huge pool in the middle. There are plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms, and everything was clean when we arrived. There are numerous outdoor seating areas, including a large outdoor dining space that comfortably sat our group of 18 for three meals a day for the long weekend. Booking the private chef was the best decision we made! The two women who cooked for us were warm, welcoming, and incredibly talented! We customized our menus ahead of time and everything was absolutely delicious. You couldn’t get a better meal at a 5 star restaurant. The value was incredible, too. It came out to be about $176 a person for six meals and a large amount of alcohol and snacks stocked up at the house. It was incredibly easy to work with the host to make sure we had all the food and drink we could want in the house when we arrived. The host, Martin, was quick to answer any and all questions and worked with the shuttle company to get us to and from the airport. His associate stopped in multiple times to check in on us and made an additional alcohol run for us when we ran out. We didn’t need to leave the property the entire weekend. We only left to do a private catamaran sail and to visit the beach which is a quick 2 minute walk from the property. The beach is shared with all inclusive resorts, which isn’t an issue. You just can’t use their bars or chairs- we used the chairs provided at the property as well as our own alcohol at the beach. We were happiest hanging out at the pool and enjoying amazing meals together outside. It really was an amazing trip. I highly recommend staying here!

Martin was an amazing host. He provided us with an AMAZING place to stay ( the pictures don't even express how much of a paradise this place is ) and everything we needed. The pool is so tranquil set under large palms, the table outside easily provided all 16 of us a fantastic place to have meals together, and the beach was perfect. Thank you for doing so much. Also, the women who cooked for us one evening prepared some of the best food I have ever eaten. This place and the people made this such a wonderful trip.
