10/10 home, stay and location. Quick walk to the beach and to the best restaurants in town. Responsive host and management team. Our 2 young children loved swimming in the pool every day. Will stay again!

We are two families with young children and stayed for five nights. There was lots of room, including an upstairs sunroom which was a great place for the kids to spread out their toys and chill after a beach day. The property felt very private and secure. We could walk to the beach and restaurants and there was a very convenient yoga spot next door which offered children’s classes in karate and gymnastics while we were there. Gems that we enjoyed about the property: a proper blender (vitamix) and an insulated large French press. If you have children, you’ll know! The outdoor/indoor showers made for a spa like settings, when little quiet time was needed as well.

Our stay at Christy’s was wonderful! From the moment we booked, Christy was incredibly responsive and helpful, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The location is perfect, with easy walking access to numerous restaurants, beautiful beaches, and a variety of amenities. We especially loved the great outdoor space. The yard was even bigger than it appeared in the pictures, providing ample room to relax and enjoy nature. We were delighted to see howler monkeys and iguanas right in the yard, adding an extra touch of adventure to our stay. The mango trees were abundant, and we enjoyed picking and eating fresh mangos daily. The concierge service was good, always ready to assist with any needs or questions we had. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

We had an amazing experience at Casa Serena. Gorgeous home, perfect pool area, central location, and a responsive host. We are so looking forward to coming back, hopefully soon!

House was beautiful. Hosts were perfectly responsive though we had no real issues. Everything was as described. Comfortably slept 3 couples + a couple 20 somethings. Beautiful pool area in back yard. Less than 10 minute walk to beach - Playa Guiones is an amazing beach for, walking, surfing, sunsets, etc. Restaurants, spas and shops literally right around the corner yet house felt secluded and peaceful. Nosara is a great little chill town.

We absolutely loved this house! The location was perfect because we could easily walk to all of the restaurants in Guiones and the beach was just down the street. It also felt very private which was nice. The house was just as beautiful as the pictures. It was the perfect house to have multiple guests because every room had its own bathroom and there were a lot of different spaces for people to hang out. The master suite was our dream bedroom with a huge walk in closet and the outdoor shower was amazing. The water pressure and long lasting warm water were a huge bonus! The pool and outdoor area were so relaxing. We had multiple monkeys and coatis visit in the yard. The kitchen had all of the necessities we needed. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! This house is great, the location is amazing. Everything you need or want to do is within walking distance. Christy is extremely communicative and will help with reservations or general information about Nosara. We are already talking about staying here again

This is a beautiful home close to the beaches and to the restaurants and shops in Guiones. The home is incredibly well maintained, has a wonderful modern kitchen and a beautiful pool and outdoor area. After a morning at the beach, it's the perfect place to relax. Support from the concierge was excellent throughout. We'd definitely come back!

I rented this house for my family and and some friends. We were a party of four adults and two kids. Everyone loved this house. The house looks beautiful in the pictures but it’s even more stunning in real life. Every detail has been thought through from the landscaping by the pool to the appliances in the kitchen. The decor has been chosen by someone with an artistic eye. The location is ideal. It’s an easy 10 minute walk to the beach and about 5 minutes to excellent restaurants. There’s also an exercise/yoga retreat called Nalu that is about a 3 minute walk from the house so it’s very easy to take daily classes if that’s your thing. We all agreed it was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The owner provides a concierge service through Blue Sands. Waldir, our Blue Sands contact, answered all our questions promptly, and helped us find activities and services such as a personal chef who came to the house and prepared dinner. The entire stay felt magical.

What a wonderful trip my family and I had to Costa Rica. Staying at Casa Serena was by far the best house we’ve stayed at through Airbnb. Christy’s house was everything the description said it was and more! It’s a beautiful home, fully equipped with everything you would ever need. The pictures are exactly the home but it’s even better in person! One highlight was to watch a family of 10 howler monkey’s from very young to old, walk along the electrical lines while sitting at the table in the lovely very open dining/living room area. The concierge service Christy has available is awesome. Waldir took care of gathering information and making arrangements for ATV & bikes delivery, coffee tour, surfing lessons, car rental and covid tests to re-enter the states. He was very responsive and checked in frequently to make sure we were well taken care of. He was terrific! Nosara is a magical place with the very beautiful Casa Serena oasis centrally located to walk, ATV, bike or drive..whatever you choose! I absolutely recommend staying at Casa Serena. You won’t be sorry! ~Pure Vida!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Serena. It’s centrally located, tastefully renovated and very comfortable for a family. We loved the pool and outdoor area. The management company was wonderful and responsive - we especially enjoyed the meals cooked by the chefs as arranged by the management company. Thanks to Christy for a great stay!

A beautiful home in a great location. It’s close to everything (restaurants, beach and stores) yet surrounded by lush jungle. The house has everything you need, very functional and great for families. We loved the pool and outdoor showers. Hosts and the house managers are the best. Thank you so much for much needed break after this crazy year. We will be back.

Great house and location for a family vacation that is accurately presented. Christy and the concierge team at the house were very responsive and nothing was too much trouble.

The house is amazing especially the private pool. Very secure with many amenities from pool towels, plenty of cookware and dishes to ice bags in the freezer waiting for us. The agency even had a nice welcome basket upon arrival. They were very helpful in assisting us with the COVID tests to get back to the US. Even when the front gate got stuck and went off the track they immediately repaired it. Easy walk to the sunset beach. We will be back

Great location, easily walkable to the beach and town. The home is virtually flawless. It shows that Christy and J.C. were thoughtful in their remodel. They thought of nearly everything! The multiple seating areas indoor and out make for great options depending on the mood and weather. The rooms are comfy and private. The property is safe and secure. Highly recommend Casa Serena!

Christy’s home was a fabulous place for 10 of us, 5 adults and 5 kids, to spend a week in Guiones. It’s very well-designed and provisioned, and there was clearly a lot of thought and care out into the home. The location in North Guiones is convenient for walking to the beach or a restaurant or the mini-super. The pool and it’s palapa are amazing, and got great use from our crew when cooling off from the full sun we got while surfing. We took advantage of the great kitchen and grill, and enjoyed many meals at the large table in the patio. We met neighbors who were all cool and helpful as well. In sum, it was magic. Thanks!

Christy's place is beyond compare. Cool, stylish, comfortable, clean - it hit all the marks. The location was outstanding. We can't recommend it enough!

This home made our trip. It is very chic and easy at the same time. The home is also perfectly located so that you have privacy but can grab a quick surf or meal. Nosara is a fabulous yoga and surf community and the dining is very good. The community has a happy vibe with European and local influences. The house manager met us upon arrival and was very hands on the entire trip. It was a blast.

Casa Serena is a perfect house in a perfect location in Nosara. It is an easy walk to restaurants and shops on either side of Calle Los Mangos and to the beach. It felt secluded enough to feel very private without being in a remote location. Nosara seems to be growing a lot so there was some construction noise, not a bother to us at all, but good to know if you are sensitive to that. We would definitely book again!

Casa Serena is a wonderful place to spend a week's vacation with the family. Everybody, including the kids, was very happy with the stay.

Casa Serena was the perfect place for our family during our stay in Nosara. The location is ideal - short walk to the beach or anywhere in town. The privacy made us feel safe and secluded even though we were right within distance of everything. The house itself is absolutely stunning - its got a clean, modern look with beautiful hardwood furniture. All of the bedrooms have full baths, and the two open air showers downstairs are amazing! We loved waking up to cook breakfast in the open kitchen then taking our morning coffee out on the back porch. The pool area and rancho are so fitting and really make you feel like you are in the tropics. The kids could not stay out of the pool so it was so nice to have a shady spot to relax during the day. The outdoor shower is a nice touch to wash off the kids after the beach. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely book again if we come back.
