Gorgeous property! Edgar treated us like family. Superb communications and well equipped home. You won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely unforgettable! The house is stunning—amazing architecture, amenities, indoor/outdoor living, pool and incredible sunsets. We had EASY beach access straight from the backyard walkway, despite another review saying otherwise. It felt like our own private miles-long beach! We saw turtles laying eggs beside the house, monkeys, macaws, stingrays surfing the waves, sand dollars and even a cheeky chip-stealing raccoon! The kids lived in the pool and ocean. Edgar is an exceptional host. He met us at the house, explained everything, gave great local tips, had forgotten essentials already stocked, and checked on us daily through Airbnb. The best host! His chef recommendation, Alberto, was phenomenal! He took our family/engagement photos, then prepared a 5-course dinner that all of us LOVED. His ability to use the sunset and natural light created some of the most stunning photos we’ve ever seen. This wasn’t just an Airbnb, it was an experience. We’ll stay here EVERY time! PURA VIDA

THIS WAS A FAMILY TRIP TO CELEBRATE OUR 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY AND IT WAS MEMORABLE. GREAT HOUSE, GREAT POOL, BEAUTIFUL VISTAS, WALKABLE BEACH, UNBELIEVABLE SUNSETS AND CONVENIENT TO MANY ACTIVITIES AND SIGHTSEEING LOCATIONS. WE WERE APPREHENSIVE ABOUT GOING IN THE RAINY SEASON BUT ALTHOUGH THERE WERE SOME BRIEF SHOWERS NONE EVER INTERRUPTED ANY ACTIVITY AND I PERSONALLY DID NOT SEE ONE MOSQUITO...EVEN IN THE RAIN FOREST. WE HAVE STAYED IN MANY NICE AIRBnB'S BUT EDGAR'S PERSONAL ATTENTION AND RESPONSIVENESS AND OBVIOUS CONCERN FOR THE QUALITY OF OUR EXPERIENCE REALLY TOOK IT TO A LEVEL THAT WAS UNIQUE AND SPECIAL. AND I HAVE TO ADD THAT BEFORE WE WENT I TOOK THE ADVICE OF MANY PRIOR REVIEWERS AND SCHEDULED CHEF ALBERTO FOR A PRIVATE DINNER WHICH THE REVIEWERS PROMISED WE WOULD NOT REGRET. THEY WERE RIGHT!!!!! If you’re looking to truly disconnect, this is the place. You’re off the grid for the most part, which made it incredibly peaceful. We spent every morning walking along the black sand beach with the Pacific Ocean just steps away. It was amazing to watch surfers catch waves and see macaws flying overhead—it felt like something out of a nature documentary. The pool was another highlight. Very peaceful in my mind. Love the sound of the water in the morning and when it was time to sleep. Love how many rooms there was so it gave my group different options when selecting a room. Felt like home and looking forward to spending a longer stay at residency.

The house is very clean, organized, every detail was thought out, and it has everything you need and more. The place is beautiful. There is no need to go anywhere else. Edgar was, without a doubt, the best host I’ve ever experienced. He personally greeted us upon arrival, gave us a full tour of the property, and shared helpful insights about Costa Rica . His home is stunning and we absolutely loved the indoor-outdoor living. We used the pool every day and truly the beach. The beds were comfortable, and the thoughtful bathroom amenities were a wonderful touch. One of my best Airbnb experiences. Edgar is definitely a host who makes you feel at home from the very first minute. My family was delighted with his hospitality and all the amenities he provided us. The house is in excellent condition and in a prime location just a few meters from the sea. It is exactly as seen in the photos; the pool area is a dream, and you can watch the sunset without having to move. I definitely plan to come back!

This home is amazing! It's steps to a beautiful beach that's never busy. The private pool is perfect. It was so wonderful to wake up every morning to this beautiful view and end every night with breathtaking sunsets! Edgar was a wonderful host. He made us feel right at home and was extremely helpful with suggestions for activities and restaurants. He even had a birthday cake ready for my husband's birthday!

Edger was, by far, the best host I've ever dealt with. He met us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the place and a great synopsis of what to expect in Costa Rica, which made planning our stay easy. His home is absolutely gorgeous and very clean, and we loved the indoor/outdoor living. We used the pool every day and really enjoyed our walks on the beach. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the bathroom amenities he left for us. Midweek he checked in to make sure everything was going well and always responded quickly to questions we had. The personal chef he recommended for a special dinner was fantastic. We felt very safe and loved every minute of it. Thank you Edger, you're the best.

This place was amazing! The view of the beach, water and mountains....it soothes the soul. The sunsets take your breath away. Edgar is an incredible host. He is very responsive. He is also thoughtful. I mentioned I was celebrating my birthday and he arrived to greet us with a birthday cake. It's the little things like that, that mean a lot to me. Edgar also had assorted toiletries available in case we forgot to pack something. Again, it's the little things like this... I highly recommend this property if you want to relax and enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica. Edgar made the experience even more enjoyable by making recommendations for activities, etc. I highly recommend bringing Chef Alberto in for a night. His food was AMAZING! I can't say enough good things about our experience. You won't be disappointed.
