Landing at Jaime's place was a stroke of incredible luck. We traveled to Costa Rica from the U.S. with a few recommendations that centered around Tamarindo, but booking Jaimie's place in Playa Grande was the best possible decision I could imagine making for us. The "round house" was in a calm and private paradise--spacious and clean with a private pool that was really fantastic. Nearby Matalapo were grocery stores, in Playa Grande, a few very good restaurants, so there was no need to get into a car to travel. A 15-minute water taxi will take you to Tamarindo. Do Ruben's Estuary tour. When one of the beds had springs that creaked all night, Carrie, the property manager, removed the frame, washed the floor, and put the mattress on the floor. We all slept better for it. My only complaint is that we were only given one towel each for the week--plus a beach towel, which I appreciated. So bring a towel. I 1000% recommend Jaimie's listing and will likely return. (Sorry, I'm a travel writer)

We have stayed in this neighborhood many times and love it. We were very pleased with this property. It had everything we needed for our stay. Our favorite feature was the private pool and the lush landscaping. We saw a lot of wildlife, such as monkeys, iguanas, and several beautiful birds every day. The property was peaceful, yet walkable to the beach and restaurants. Both the home owner and property manager were excellent with communication. We recommend this property and hope to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed Casa Redonda. Nestled in a quiet area, it was a great place to spend some quality time as a family. Lovely restaurants and beautiful beaches nearby. Carrie, the property manager, answered all out questions and had wonderful recommendations for us. I would highly recommend visiting Playa Grande.

Jaime responded quickly and very easy to work with, I would use them again if we go back! Her host Ernesto was the best! Super helpful with everything! We did not plan anything before we flew down and he had us lined out for the week the first day! Thank you for everything, it was a magical trip! ✨️

Very unique place with a great location! Short walk to the beach in a very peaceful community with great restaurants! The pool is lovely and the backyard is beautiful with all of the palm trees and flowers. The hammock is very relaxing to chill out in too! We loved our stay here!

Great spot in playa grande! Walkable to the beach and our favorite restaurants- cafe mar azul and cantarana. The house had everything we needed and we loved the yard with the pool, hammock and all the beautiful flowers.

Jaime’s place was amazing. The beach was quiet and so nice to watch the sunset with the beach close by. We had a fantastic time and would definitely stay again.

We had a great time at this cute little house. The pool was great. It was private and surrounded by beautiful vegetation, birds, and iguanas. Several restaurants within a couple minutes walk and the beach access was close as well. Just as pictured and described in the listing. We also enjoyed fresh homemade pastries delivered to our door. We hope to return in the future.

I loved my stay at the beautiful little house. It was really clean and had everything I needed. The pool is awesome, and the property is pretty private. The garden is beautiful and the plants and flowers give an amazing fresh smell. Most days I was there, I saw monkeys, an armadillo, geckos, iguanas, and lots of birds. I can't wait to come visit again! Also there is a nice little restaurant next door that had live music some evenings so I enjoyed going over and meeting some locals and tourists

The house and the place are amazing. In the middle of lush greenery, a private place, with a large pool and only a walk from a beach that, to my liking, is one of the best beaches in Costa Rica. The house is spacious, has everything you need to cook, comfortable beds and new bedding and the house has a lot of security. The pool is very nice, there is always some shade place for the kids to stay in the water for hours and it is very clean. The host was excellent, immediate response to all our questions and even let us in before check-in time. The only thing but would be that all the windows are locked, so they can't be opened, I guess due to safety issues, but the house is still very cool with the AC and fans. Definitely one of the best places we've ever stayed and want to go back to! Thank you so much.
