We were completely satisfied.

Can’t be the beach front location. Cabin was super cozy. My only advise is that you might bring your own pillow. I had a hard time with the extremely flat pillows. But location is perfect for finding activities, restaurants, etc. Host was very friendly and helpful.

Had a great stay here for a couple days in Placencia. The location is fantastic and so nice to be right on the beach.

we had a lovely visit here at Curling and Aura's place. it was our second time there. Clean, great location with some fun eateries nearby....Wendys is amazing and consistently fabulous. Arthur and Aura made us feel right at hime!

Last minute stop off for our trip. Host was great, gave good information, proactive and very friendly. Had time allowed, would have stayed for longer.

Curling and Aura welcomed us in person quickly putting us at ease. The cabana is on the beach and secured with a fence so it felt very safe. Walk out the fence and into the water. Within walking distance of grocery stores and restaurants. The cabana is a bit rustic but pristine with a comfortable bed. The deck is great for coffee in the morning and a night cap at night. Hot water for shower and lots of towels. Placencia is all about the beach and this a very affordable, safe and clean accommodation. We will book with Curly on our next trip

Great spot, great location

We spent 3 nights in Curling’s cabana and wish we could have stayed for longer. You can roll out of bed and into the Caribbean Sea and you can watch the sunrise from the bed (or hammock). The cabana was clean and we were provided with fresh coffee and beach towels. The hosts, Curling and his wife Aura, are fantastic people; friendly, helpful and gave us great recommendations. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The place was great! Low key and nothing fancy, but right on the beach and perfect for us.

A wonderful little house on the beach, the wind blows gently over the bed and the waves rush right outside the door. Lots of small intelligent details, everything super clean and in the middle of the village. Arthur and Aura were great hosts and very generous with the checkout. We would have loved to have stayed longer!

We’ve had a wonderful time in this beach cabin. It is incredibly well located in Placencia with tons of restaurants and scuba diving shops. It is a large lot right between the main pier and the beach with 3 cabins on it: 2 for short term rental on Airbnb closer to the beach and one slightly at the back where Arthur and Aura lives. Aura and Arthur welcomed us and explained the rules and provided recommendations. Although not the most luxurious place, the cabin was very clean and comfortable, and definitely much cheaper than other beachfront options in Placencia. So very good value for money. Hosts even refreshed the room twice during our 6 days stay, which was awesome!

Arthur and Aura are absolutely lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. They're super chill and very friendly. The cabana was comfortable, if a bit dated, and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen is equipped enough for cooking and even has filtered water. The sea breeze was very refreshing in the scorching heat, air con isn't needed but there is a fan which was fine for us. The location was amazing, right on the beach and it somehow still felt private. My only complaint would be about the polyester bedsheets. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

The location is perfect—just a five-minute walk from everything in the heart of Placencia. The cabana sits on the best part of the best beach in Belize, with sand and surf right out front. The refreshing easterly breeze and private veranda were ideal for relaxing. The cabana has a charming, vintage feel, with a small kitchenette and refrigerator, though we enjoyed exploring local restaurants and bars. The bed was comfortable, with plenty of space for clothes. After a day of exploring or sunbathing, the instant hot water shower was a treat. Aura, our host, ensured we had everything we needed, while Arthur entertained us with local stories. His background as a retired police officer added extra comfort and security. Our final week in Placencia was the highlight of our two-month adventure, thanks to this beachfront cabana in such a friendly, welcoming country.

Great spot for the price. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the hammock and deck very much. Aura was a very helpful and kind host.

The Cabana was great. In the midst of shopping and dining yet felt very private and secluded at the same time. Very friendly locals and hosts. Room was as described with all the necessities you would need. Right on the water that is perfectly clear and shallow enough to lounge in all day. Would definitely stay again!

My mom and I had the most amazing time here. We watched storms roll in over the ocean, relaxed in the hammock reading and even saw a sting ray jump out of the water! Aura was extremely kind and welcoming, gave us wonderful recommendations on where to eat locally. They even gave us fresh coconut water straight from the coconuts growing around us! Highly recommend, but please keep in mind there is no A/C so make sure you’re okay with that before booking. ☺️

We had a wonderful stay at Tri-Tan. the host was super helpful and friendly the place was clean and litterally right off the beach and super easy access to the main sidewalk. The beach was clean and water was perfect.

Location was fantastic, and good value. Lots of good spots within 10 min walk or less. Hosts were communicative and helpful with booking a tour, giving recommendations, etc.

Quality on the beach Accomodation. No Aircon needed with the breeze from the sea. Lovely large deck with hammock, direct view and access to beach. The beach is fabulous long stretch of soft sand and gentle waves. Room is spacious and bathroom functional and clean. Comfy bed with fresh linen. Felt private but easy access to help if needed. Arthur and Aura delightful

Aura was very kind and generous. She met us at the gate and personally got us situated with beach towels and helpful information about the area. We appreciated the fresh towels and linens every other day and fresh mangos from their tree. We look forward to the opportunity to return to Placencia and stay at Tri-Tan Cabanas.

The place was an old cabana, but one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. We never saw Aura cleaning because she'd wait for us to leave, but she came by every second day to polish the place. It was always exciting to return to a shiny kitchen, fresh towels, and a bed made with crisp cotton linens. The best part about the place, though, was it's location. The cabana was close to the dive shops, shopping on main street, a 5 minute walk to the popular restaurants, and a 10 second sprint into the beautiful turquoise ocean. We absolutely loved our week in Placencia!

Our stay with Arthur and his lovely wife was great. The cabana is very peaceful and right on the beach. We would love to come again.

We really enjoyed the location. The ocean is only a few steps away. Lots of options for restaurants, shops and bars close by. Accommodations are basic but good value for your money.

Beach bungalow with very basic amenities, clean, great location, sunrise view while in bed. The outside looks like it could use a little TLC, but its located right on the beach and within walking distance to everything. Arthur is quite the talker and is always on site for anything you need.

Very nice beach cabana located directly at the beachfront (there is a fence in between but it doesn’t matter). It has a small kitchen with a pot and pan, fridge, microwave etc so you can cook small meals or breakfast. Good shower and spacious bathroom. Arthur is a really nice host who responded always very fast and helped us organize a snorkeling tour and gave us restaurant and bar recommendations. Restaurants and supermarkets etc are in close walking distance. Wi-Fi was great, even at the beach. The sunrise from the terrasse is amazing! We really enjoyed the stay and would love to be there longer!

We loved our stay here in Placencia. We stayed over Christmas and it was very easy to relax, especially given we were on the beach and the relaxing atmosphere. The beach hut has everything you could need - we even made a Christmas dinner! We wish we could have stayed longer.

You are right on the ocean! The owners are great! Restaurants are amazing, just a short walk along the ocean. You don't need a car. Everything you need is a short walk. Very quiet yet a short walk to everything.

5 star location close to everything with Simple accomodations that provided us with everything we needed and expected . A great place for young ( mature )couples . Just to note it lacks AC if thats important to you ( we were fine without it in mid November ). Curling and Aura are wonderful hosts and very helpful ,we enjoyed our time chatting and hanging out with them and cannot thank them enough for their hospitality . Cheers .

Super sweet couple from the start! Curling and Aura greeted us with thorough instructions and useful tips. Our cabin was really clean and even had coffee, filters, olive oil and s&p for our breakfasts at home! We would definitely recommend this spot to any of our friends for an “on the beach” experience, for sure!!

We had a lovely stay at Arthur’s cabanas. To wake up with the sunrise and palm trees just by looking outside of the window is something remarkable. Apartment had what we needed - equipped kitchen, coffee, fan. And was very clean! Arthur is very friendly and kind, we had a lovely time in Belize

We had a great stay! The location was perfect, right on the beach, steps away from the water and a short walk to many shops and beach bars/restaurants. The place was very clean and the host was welcoming and quick to respond.

We felt very comfortable. Beautiful large wooden terrace overlooking the sea, very quiet and hardly any people on the beach. It is no longer the newest property, but you have everything you need and it was very clean. I had asked Arthur before about a tour operator in Silk Caye. He had immediately organized everything for us, just perfect.

Our stay at Tri Tan Cabanas was more than perfect. Even before we came to Belize, Curling and Aura were there to answer any questions, give recommendations, and make sure we got to our place safely. As for the location, you truly cannot find a better one. Waking up to beautiful sunrises and falling asleep to the sound of the waves were the cherry on top to this slice of paradise. It’s a simple place in front of the beach, the view was so nice

This is our second time staying at Arthur & Aura's cabin...and not only are they incredible hosts, but they are also remarkably kind beautiful humans. It really very quickly felt like home for us and we would love to keep returning to this magical little place. We are feeling very blessed to have the opportunity to stay here with Arthur & Aura, they really cannot do enough for you and the location and cabin is just perfect. Everything you need, you can cook in the cabin, watch Netflix, chill in the hammock and go for a swim in the sea which is literally on your doorstep. If you get the opportunity to stay here, you will not regret it. Thank you amazing Arthur & Aura, forever grateful to you.

Arthur & Aura were so helpful from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We really liked that they met us on arrival and detailed everything for us, including some great local recommendations, and even the handbook inside listed great things and we enjoyed even reading about the history of Belize in there. This little cabin was extremely clean and fresh and we just loved every minute of staying there…and it’s literally right on the beach. It was very private and quiet and we felt very safe there. Arthur helped us to even find the local bus and times and was very flexible in allowing us to have a later check out. We can’t recommend this place enough! Thank you so much Arthur & Aura.

There are seriously too many positives to list…from arranging the taxi when I arrived to helping me get to my destination, when my stay was over. Both Curling and Aura are delightful people, I really wish I could have spent more time with but I was only in town for 2 nights, before heading out for a sailing charter. I have not only already planned on making another trip to Belize, I will be contacting Curling when I do. 10 stars!!!

Curling and Aura gave us a gift for our 2 week stay in Belize & Placencia. Our style is to try to be travelers more than just tourists. You can read all the positive reviews and know that it all fit for us and more. They didn't have to do all they did to help us enjoy our stay or just visit with us al times, but they did. What else is there is say about a cabana 100 feet from the Caribbean Sea with tropical breezes where you can sink as much into the culture as you like? Thank you both. Char & Marv

This place is right on the beach in Placencia - you have to walk on the beach to get there! Every night I fell asleep to the gentle sound of the waves and woke up to watch the sunrise right from bed. Arthur and Aura were friendly and helpful, the cabana was clean and well-appointed. The location is great - a short walk to the sidewalk (Placencia Main Street) and restaurants on the beach. They provided helpful recommendations for tour companies and restaurants.

Right on beach and easy access to many places to eat/drink; all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay.

We had a wonderfully relaxing time at Arthur’s cabana. The cabana was just as described- not high-end, yet clean and had everything we needed. The location is amazing. Right on the beach and close to restaurants, shops, activities, bars, etc. Aura cleaned the cabanas regularly and was even willing to do laundry for us which was a godsend! Thank you!

We absolutely loved this place. Right on the beach. Think 1950’s Florida. Curling and Aura are wonderful. They gave us fresh coconut’s prepared to drink and eat! Aura wants to clean all the time! That girl works hard. We mentioned the lack of a toaster and she went right out to buy one. The service is amazing. Loved sitting on the deck watching the sun rise. The beach is beautiful and everything is walkable. We spent 11 days and it was heavenly. Basic kitchen but had everything we needed to make breakfast. Loved falling asleep to the sound of waves and the beautiful breeze. Our favourite stay in Belize.

We enjoyed our beachfront cabana for a few days during rainy season. Very few people were in the water so it was very peaceful. The village was quiet and some dining and entertainment options were closed on various days. We found a private boat owner to take us snorkeling and then to monkey river the following day. It was a relaxing trip to Placencia.

The cottage was great! Right on the beach! I loved falling asleep listening to the surf.

Great location. Right on the beach and easy walking distance to everything in town. Free refills on the coffee (and great coffee too!) is a nice bonus. The hotplate is more than adequate for bacon and eggs and the fridge keeps food nice and cold. Safe, secure and having breaky on the deck every morning with the waves splashing and the sun shinning is a perfect way to start the day. Very quiet and secluded.

We had a great time staying at Arthur's place. He was able to provide a lot of really good history and insight into Placencia.

As advertised, this beach cabana sits on a beautiful stretch of beach, footsteps way from a plunge into the clear Caribbean water and short walk to restaurants, stores and unique shops. Very relaxing stay!

Tri-Tan Cabanas is right on the beach and within close walking distance of shops, restaurants and Covid testing locations. Arthur and Aura are great hosts and made our stay very enjoyable. The place was clean and had everything we needed. I was traveling with my daughter, age 10. She slept on an air mattress (that I brought with me) and I slept on the double bed. If you need more than one sleeping space, I would recommended bringing an air mattress. The beach was lovely to swim in on days when the ocean was calm. On days when it was rough, there was a fair amount of plastic debris in the water and on the sand, which was unfortunate. Not something within the hosts' ability to control, however. To access the cabins, you do need to be prepared to drag your suitcases over a stretch of beach as there is no walkway to the cabins. If you have a car, you will need to park several blocks away as there is no parking at the cabins. Just something to be aware of if you have mobility issues or don't feel like trudging through sand. But if you are looking for a simple, clean place to stay on the beach in Placencia, I would definitely recommend Tri-Tan.

I had a fantastic stay at Tri-tan! Great location (right on the beachfront and off the main sidewalk) and had all needed amenities. The hosts were also really helpful and kind. I highly recommend staying here and would do so again!
