Fenomenal House

A very pleasant experience

Fantastic

Such a stunning property. Fully immersed in nature with the best view possible in the region. Everyday we’re greeted by dozens of bird species, monkeys and many other wild-lives while also provided with modern convenience and luxury. And everyday morning we wake up to the spectacular view overlooking the azure ocean and vibrant mountain landscape with complete privacy. The host is also super accommodating and helpful to our demands and challenges. This listing hits 10/10!

We stayed here for our wedding weekend and used it for us and our guests, and it was perfect. The house is beautiful, spotless, and even better than the photos. It’s very spacious with a great layout for hosting, so everyone had room to spread out and still gather comfortably. The pool and outdoor setup were a huge highlight and made entertaining easy. We even had a private chef cook our rehearsal dinner at the house for about 15 people, and it worked out amazingly. The host was incredibly accommodating, responsive, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We had an amazing time and would absolutely stay here again.

We had a surprise 80th birthday party for my mother in law at this house. The views and setting are spectacular and the space was just what we needed for the party. The host and concierge were very accommodating in every way. A few warnings for readers- no one was able to drive their cars to the door of the house except for us. Thank god we have a 4-wheel drive pick up truck. We had to drive everyone to the door (and then back up) because the driveway is so steep and it was even hard for our truck to get back up. Be prepared to have to walk down and up a steep hill to get to the house unless you have a big vehicle. Also, this is three floors of stairs and the kitchen is on the bottom floor so bringing items into and out of the house is quite the workout. These were things we were not expecting which is why I’m mentioning them. Despite these things, we had an amazing stay and would rent it again.

This is a wonderful, comfortable and happy stay for me. The best thing is that they can arrange for a chef to come to the door at any time. I went out fishing at 5am and he came at 3am to prepare a hearty breakfast for 15 people. I told him in advance that I would be back by dinner time and he prepared dinner for us. The view from the master bedroom can be said to be God's perspective. The entire beach is below me. Watching the sunrise is really unbeatable.The super big kitchen made us feel like we were eating at a buffet.The kitchen has air conditioning, and the infinity pool is super awesome.The comfortable vacation went by very quickly.I'll go again next year!

A simply gorgeous place.

The pictures say it all. It's a beautiful house. The drive out to the main highway is a little annoying. But, you just need to plan ahead for your needs. You don't wanna forget something and have to go back out. The driveway is a challenge but fun. Truly enjoyed myself and would definitely rent it again. Jaun was an excellent host and very responsive.

Wow, Villa Serena was everything and more that we could of expected. Juan Carlos was the nicest when my lover was communicating with him to surprised me on Valentine’s Day with a trip to Costa Rica. Chris was really helpful he recommended chef Randall he cooked for us an amazing dinner twice. His nephew Bryan which they work as a team recommended his dad as a taxi next day, he picked us up and took us in a tour around Joco beach. Chris also recommended a massage and the girls were amazing!!! We woke up from he massage to a beautiful sunset. The house is just so beautiful and peaceful waking up every morning to that view and the sound of nature was the nicest thing ever. We saw guacamayos (macaw), Great Kiskadee, Black Vulture & raccons around the villa. For content the house has so many spots for pictures. I recommend this listing 10/10.

Mesmerizing…

For my family and for me it was a dream to be in this house. It really is a beautiful house. Clean, spacious, modern, with spectacular views, very complete. I will definitely have it in my places to return. Juan Carlos and Chris are always super attentive. Thank you very much for everything. Highly recommended.

This house is amazing. We loved hanging out by the pool in the mornings and bird watching. We saw scarlet macaws, toucans, grey hawks, green honey creepers, shining honey creepers, social flycatchers, and a squirrel cuckoo, just to name a few. At the beaches that are within this gated community, there are monkeys that visit the beaches. The beaches were perfecto as well! Playa Mantas does not offer chairs on the beach, but Playa Blanca (which is a bit harder to access, but possible) does offer chair and umbrella rentals. The trees and the jungles flora in this area is unbeatable. We were in heaven!

Heaven on earth! Juan Carlos and team provided exceptional service. All were kind, responsive, and went above and beyond to make our trip as smooth and memorable as possible. I wouldn't think twice about booking here again...I wish I never had to leave! Thank you, Juan Carlos, Chris, Randall, and team for making this the trip of a lifetime! We will never forget you guys and hope to see you again soon.
