We enjoyed our stay very much; the house is comfortable, nice, and met our expectations for a great time in Tela. The location and facilities were very good, and overall we had a positive experience. We appreciate the hospitality and would definitely recommend the place.

We loved the place. Ariel was always available for anything we needed, and Doña Amanda welcomed us like family and helped us a lot. One thing to add is that when we arrived, the air conditioning in one of the rooms wasn't working properly, but we understand that sometimes appliances can have issues. The area is beautiful and very private, which is what we wanted. We hope to return soon. It's absolutely worth it.

Recommended! The house has nice spaces, and there is beach access nearby. The host is available for any needs that may arise. We had a great time with my family.

Very nice place, beautiful beach, the place matches the photos, the person who received us (Doña Amanda) was very friendly and helpful, the electricity went out one day and they promptly set up the electric generator for the whole house. We loved the experience, we had a great time with the family. Point to improve: many vendors came to the house, they sold coconuts, bread and things like that, that generated a little mistrust, but apart from that everything was very good, I highly recommend the place, we could definitely return!!

Gracias por su vista Karol, Los vendedores son de la comunidad garífuna San Juan de la cual formamos parte. Ellos ofrecen sus productos autóctonos ( Pan de Coco, conservas, cocos de agua ), tienen acceso al complejo previo registro en la guardia.

The place fully complies with what is described in the app and the photos reflect exactly what the house is like. Everything was very clean, comfortable and with a pleasant atmosphere — really a 10/10 stay. As points for improvement, I would suggest updating the directions to get to the accommodation, since currently in San Juan there are streets under repair and some accesses are closed, which made it a little difficult to arrive. It would be ideal to indicate a central point and coordinate from there with someone from the accommodation to facilitate access. I would also improve the internet connection a bit, since at times the signal is lost. Apart from those details, the experience was excellent and I would definitely recommend this place.

The house size was great and accommodated plenty of people comfortably. The house is a bit dated and could use some updating, but otherwise was equipped with most of what we needed. The biggest problem was getting to the house was extremely, extremely difficult, especially at night. The roads, if you want to call them roads, are basically horrible. Nothing that is Juan’s fault, but that is the case. Also the hot water was not available for certain reasons he gave me that I didn’t quite understand. Overall the water was extremely salty in taste. We only used it to wash hands or dishes. The lack of hot water is a major issue for anyone not use to not having it and it is listed as an amenity. The pool was great but needs some tile replacing work. There were many coming loose that we fished out. If not for the roads I would stay again at slightly lower price. But not unless they actually made some paved roads which is unlikely any time soon. Juan was very responsive and polite.

Estimado Gonzo, Quiero comentarte que justamente la dificultad que había para llegar es porque ya están haciendo trabajos de pavimentación de la carretera de acceso a la zona, esperamos en poco tiempo contar con esta calle pavimentada. El agua al ser de pozo y estar cerca de la playa, tiende a tener un sabor ligeramente salado en esta época, es perfectamente potable y adicionalmente brindamos agua embotellada de cortesía. La casa esta concebida para familias que deseen pasar un buen tiempo en una casa comoda a pasos de la playa. Gracias por hospedarte en nuestra casa y tomaremos en cuenta tus observaciones.

Very comfortable house with everything you need. They gave us towels, soaps, the beautiful beach. It's just a little tricky to get there, but with waze you can get there perfectly. Everything is clean and there is WiFi. Thank you for everything!

We had an unforgettable stay at this beach house in Tela! The location couldn’t be better — just a few feet from the beach, inside a safe and quiet complex. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the coast. The house itself is super spacious with big bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and everything we needed to feel right at home. We especially loved spending time by the private pool and grilling on the deck. Having a generator was a plus too — we didn’t have to worry about power outages at all. Ariel, the host, is very personable and quick to respond to any inquiries. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-kept place near the beach, this is it. Highly recommended!
