Such a beautiful home in a stunning location. The landscaping is amazing, felt like we were in a tropical rainforest. Nice pool and jacuzzi overlooking the ocean and sunset. Caretakers Byron and Cindy were there for everything we needed and were so very kind. Overall a wonderful stay away from the crowds.

Casa Caribe is a stunning slice of heaven overlooking the ocean and easy access to the reef and other adventures. If you prefer to get off the beaten tourist path and experience nature and people more authentically then you will love it here. The staff make sure your every need is met, including leaving you in peace. Enjoy!

Our stay at Casa Caribe was great! The view is absolutely breathtaking. 180°+ view of the ocean. It is truly indescribable. the grounds are beautifully done and well-tended with tons of tropical plants and flowers. It was super easy to kayak out to the mangroves and to the reef for snorkeling which was a wonderful experience! The hospitality is top notch too. Chris was super communicative and gave wonderful suggestions for places to visit. He even made reservations for us to make it easier. Banuel is the caretaker and he is so wonderful. He is there for absolutely anything you need at all and he is truly happy to serve guests. He also has great knowledge of the island and tells great stories! They truly take all the stress out of the vacation by having everything you could want or need. And they are willing to get for you anything they may not have. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. It was beautiful, restful, relaxing, and fun! If you are going to Roatan, this is the place to stay!

“Welcome to paradise.” These were the first words we were greeted with when we were picked up by Chris & his crew at the airport. If only I knew then how true those words would ring throughout our two week stay at Casa Caribe. My wife & I chose Roatan for our honeymoon. When visiting Roatan, many tourists unfortunately choose a single room in a crowded resort all the way to the west end of the island. In order to get a more well-rounded and immersive experience of the island, we chose this large private home, which is located perfectly in the middle of Roatan. We were so pleased with our decision! Casa Caribe is paradise. The home is beautiful, and the 360 views are unbelievable. Between the beaches and the luscious yard, my husband and I never got tired of exploring the property. The hot tub & pool always hit the spot after some fun in the sun or after an adventurous day experiencing Roatan. And we found that stargazing on the sundeck and watching the moon light up the ocean was the perfect nighttime activity. Casa Caribe has 2 full time care-takers (one of which is available 24/7) and an amazing lady who comes twice a week to clean (she will do the dishes and your laundry), and she is available to hire to cook meals if you so choose. First, both care-takers were phenomenal. They were extremely attentive and did anything we asked. Not only are they available for any help you need, but they are also available to increase your fun. They can help you with ocean activities (like snorkeling or kayaking) at the house, or you can even have them take you to experience anywhere on the island you want to go. I highly recommend getting to know them and doing the activities they suggest. Each of them is a tour guide, excursion planner, driver, translator, body guard, maintenance man, bug killer, & friend; all wrapped into one person! Back to the lady available for cooking, you would be a fool to not have her cook some meals for you. Her home-cooked meals were some of my favorites things I ate during the trip. She is so sweet, and you can tell there is a splash of love in all her dishes. And her portions are generous!! Plan to have leftovers. The host, Chris, is so hospitable. He helped us figure out all the activities we wanted to do while we were in Roatan, and told us which restaurants we couldn’t miss! He takes pride in Casa Caribe, and he will make sure your experience does not fall below perfect. Also, Chris LOVES animals. You will get to hang out with the dogs & cats of Casa Caribe during your stay. Their primary job is to be watch dogs, keeping you and the property safe. However, they are so fun to play with and spoil with treats. You will want to take them all home with you by the end of your stay! One of the the most valuable opportunities staying at Casa Caribe provides is the ability to go anywhere on the island in less than an hour. Even the furthest points of the island were available for us to explore & experience after just a short drive or boat ride. If it was in Roatan at all, we knew we could easily get there! I am so glad we were able to experience so much of the island thanks to Casa Caribe’s perfect location. As you can see, we had an amazing experience here. We are already trying to figure out when we can get back to this amazing place. At first I thought we were perfect for the island, but I’ve realized that the island is just perfect for everybody. Please don’t miss your opportunity to experience paradise at Casa Caribe!

It was the perfect honeymoon. Great food. Great people. Most importantly that location. The view can not be captured properly in words or in pictures. Felt 100% safe throughout the trip and explored the whole island. Such a perfect place to unwind and let go. Oscar is stellar.

Marvelous, Amazing, Breathtaking, Superb, Politilly Bight Casa Caribe is just beyond expectations What a wonderful place to stay. First Roatan is a magical and beautiful island. Secondly Casa Caribe is just a marvelous place to stay. The house is on top of a magnificent view, to one side the sea and to the other side stunning jungle views. The house is huge and beautiful, it has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Comfortable big rooms, superb bathrooms, amazing huge kitchen with more appliances and tools than my mother’s kitchen! Grill, 360 verandas on every floor of the house, 2 decks to get into the sea, kayacs, swimming pool, jacuzzi, etc… the list goes on and on. You will spend an amazing, relaxing vacation in one of the most beautiful places of the island. With the sea just for you a foot away. Don’t doubt a second if the house is available. Chris and Liz are extremely responsive, with a lot of advice, Oscar (and Liz) will help you with everything you need while in the house. I cannot stress how wonderful everyone is and how marvelous this house is. You’ll enjoy remoteness and privacy while feeling exceptionally safe (we interacted with the marvelous and kind dogs that keep the property safe and with a feeling of home). When we arrived, Oscar was already waiting for us at the airport, our rental car was ready, and we perfectly drove to the house. We visited parts of the island, but the house in itself was enough of a resort for our extremely relaxing and dreamy one-week vacation. Thank you for an amazing place and incredible vacation.

The pictures don’t do this place justice. Truly incredible house on an amazing part of the island. The sunsets by the pool just make you forget about all worries in the world. The place is sparking clean, super communicative hosts and stellar amenities. I would personally recommend renting a car to also see surrounding beaches and neighborhoods but this spot is a perfect place to vacation with friends. We’ll definitely be back!

This has to be the closest place to Paradise! It was great to stay at Casa Caribe, Chris, Oscar and Liz were amazing! From checking in until departing they took care of us recommending places to eat or visit and getting the kayaks and snorkeling gear out for us to use. Even getting some mangos from the tree after we told them we like fresh mangos! 100% recommended and can't wait to go back and stay in Casa Caribe!

Amazing stay!! You get so much extra at Casa Caribe!! Definitely have Rosa cook for you at least 1 time, she’s a great cook. Oscar and Liz were amazing!! Loved having Sho-Sho and Chapo hanging around the house. We can’t wait to go back!!

The property is lovely, the amenities are fantastic, the pool is perfect and the entire stay was wonderful. We were met at the airport which was really helpful. We felt safe while on the property and while we were away, and we had an excellent stay on every level. I highly recommend this property!

Wonderful Villa and Incredible hosts & staff We’ve stayed at numerous Airbnb and VRBO vacation rentals in the US, Central America, and the Caribbean, and Casa Caribe is without question one of the best places we’ve stayed, and the owners and on-island staff were just incredible. The three story villa is perched on the eastern shore of Politilly Bight, with a commanding view of the bay, the crashing surf on the reef, and tropical sunsets. We began each day with breakfast on the veranda, gazing at the ocean and surf, and we ended each night enjoying the hanging chairs and enjoying the ocean breeze. The villa is in excellent physical condition, with newer kitchen appliances, comfortable upscale furnishings throughout, and strong wi-fi throughout the house (it was a bit slow at times, but that’s due to the cable from the mainland). The house is positioned to catch the trade winds, so we seldom needed air conditioning, but it was powerful and effective the few times we used it. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and expertly maintained by Brayan, the caretaker – we felt like we were in the middle of an arboretum. While the condition, amenities, and location of the villa are all excellent, what really put Casa Caribe over the top was the people. Chris and Cassidy were deeply engaged and very helpful, both before and during the trip. They offered great suggestions for local service providers, and checked in regularly to see if we had questions or concerns, or if there was anything they could do to make our stay even better. We were met at the airport by the property manager Liz, who has a wealth of local knowledge and insider tips about Roatan. She led the way to the local grocery (Eldon’s in French Harbor is excellent), then on to the villa where she gave us a walking tour and introduction. Caretaker Brayan is a delightful young man who kept the villa and grounds in top condition and even took us on a kayak tour of the bay. On the couple of occasions when minor issues needed attention both Brayan and Liz were on site within 10 minutes to resolve the issue. Not 10 days, not 10 hours, but 10 minutes! Simply amazing. We also enjoyed the company of the faithful 4-legged staff members, “Shoo-Shoo” and “El Chapo”. If we ever return to Roatan we know exactly where we're going to stay.

Chris and Cassidy's home is nothing short of paradise! Gorgeous grounds full of palm and cashew trees accented with lots of color from plants and flowers. We loved watching all the birds! The house is huge yet homey with a lot of personality. The fresh flowers were such a nice touch. This would be the perfect place for a family retreat! The views are spectacular whether you are in the pool or hot tub or lounging on the decks. All we really needed to bring was our clothes. Chris and Cassidy didn't leave us needing anything and if we did need anything, the caretaker Brian was always at hand. There are so many things to do on the island, from zip lining to shopping, scuba and snorkeling. Or.....just enjoy the island air and relax! Thanks Chris and Cassidy for sharing your piece of island heaven with us! We WILL be back.
