A long time ago I wanted to go to Altos del Maria to explore the nature of the place and it stops me with this very nice and spacious house. I introduce a very kind lady to introduce us to the house It was a bit difficult to understand a few things because she doesn't speak much Spanish but I think there was no problem The house is about 10 minutes away from the entrance of Altos de Maria's gate on the out very modern. The weather we thought it would be cold or cool but it was actually hot. The house is decorated according to Mrs. AAlla's culture Two rooms are available Equipped kitchen BBQ area The area is quiet, you have a good time outside in the hammocks or on the terrace It's perfect to rest and clear Close to waterfalls Grateful for Allah's treatment If you are looking to stay in highlands of Maria in order to explore the area, this may be a good option for one night

The owners were friendly when receiving us. Personally we prefer not to encounter people when we get to the place. The house has a unique style of decoration since they use to live there, but not at the same time when is rented. Is located in a private area and you can enjoy a great time with friends and pets. Kitchen has lot of utensils so you can prepare almost any kind of dish or food. Have a space to grill or do bbq outside but was not completely done when we went, also we missed the fire pit detailed in the description.

Great place for a trip with friends. Alla and her husband were very helpful and attentive. The location is beautiful. The house is very comfortable and pictures are accurate. It does have wifi but it is limited to the living room and quite weak, therefore I would not recommend it for teleworking. We will definitely come back.

My first time renting a place where someone lives and I don't recommend it. If you're looking for privacy, keep looking for another residence, this is not enough. The house smells like dust inside, so I don't recommend it to sensitive or allergic people. The owners are friendly but “special” in many aspects. The waterfalls and setting are beautiful

A wonderful "real" air bnb. Not an apartment or home that someone bought for an investment, tricked out and rents via Airbnb. A lovely home on a beautiful mountain community just a short drive away from beautiful paths, stream and waterfalls. We thoroughly enjoyed or long weekend there with our 2 grandchildren.

Excellent location and attention from Mrs. Alla and her husband, very kind in every way. The house is super comfortable and excellent for spending the days, getting to know and rest; It has a BBQ and a super comfortable and spacious kitchen. The cleanliness of the house is very good, everything was impeccable. Everything is exactly as shown in the photos!

This place is great for those people that are looking to have a private room, and to share experience with hosts (The owners are a friendly couple). However, If you are looking for a private house, then this is not the best option in Altos del Maria. (we were looking for this) For the amount of money we paid, I did not expect this to be a shared house. Also since we were planning to work remotely, our surprise was that WiFi signal was not strong enough to run our program and systems. The fridge was tiny (not as the picture), we had to leave several of our stuff in a cooler we had. We stay only 1 of 10 nights, and request a refund. Because for the price I paid I was expecting to have the entire house for ourselves, rather than sharing spaces.

Is not really- i told befor i rent q rooms in house And on the my website i told about wart i sleep on the one room And after i told same on the watsaap privat.I not like if speek not really.You only come you come not happy and not come inside house.Becouse on the your had you have changinge new plan.And you not have choice -4 person sleep in my house on the 2 rooms and after you gou out becouse you change your plan not befor ,a same day wart you come.Normal person ask everethink befor reservashion and come happy and speek with host.You come not happy and not frendly with me.Is very bad manipulashion with host if is your problem 100%.You too speek not realy about my room .My room were you sleep i cleen in same day with my hands very good.Is not possible have dost.And 2 days befor i cleen everythink window in house.And i cook.I not like if person manipulashion and speek not realy.I have any massige on the watsaap.Atanshion befor reservashion.

I had a great experience with Alla, the house was very clean, the view was amazing, the neighbors were quiet, and Altos Del Maria was a wonderful, incredible place!

I was planning to have an excellent birthday weekend at Altos del Maria; sadly it became a nightmare again. Upon arrival at the residence from the outside, everything was dirty, the chairs on the terrace had cobwebs. When we entered the house... it was worse, the ornaments had cobwebs, dust everywhere, on the windows, on the table, on any surface there was dust, in the room there was mouse excrement and/or lizard and in the beds there was hair of people and dust. There were two refrigerators on the property and neither worked, the one the lady mentioned we had to use, inside had broken and dirty food. The toilets were dirty, in the living room there was a security camera that the owner hadn't told me before. My family immediately started to have discomfort in their nose due to the amount of dust in the place, the house was uninhabitable. Because of this, we have decided to immediately withdraw. I let the owner know that we had retired and then sent me messages at all times including late evening and early hours, sadly it was a bad experience, I have a moment of harassment from Mrs.Alla, I have videos, images and messages received from Mrs.Alla. I am unable to recommend this property.

Beautiful house, yard and patio in a peaceful setting. This was my first trip to Panama and Altos del Maria is certainly relaxing and gorgeous. On a practical note, a good reliable car is necessary to traverse the hills. I drove a compactSUV with AWD and had no problem. I also recommend having a map of the area so you can more easily find your way. We enjoyed the waterfalls, exploring Altos del Maria, and brisk morning walks. There was not much going on - but it was a great way to ease into a vacation mindset. Bring a good book and relax.

Mrs. Alla's house is very cozy, with beautiful decor and design, located in a place with a spectacular view and climate. Because it belongs, the house is a little musty smell. Overall cleaning is pretty good, though the cleaning of some furniture could be improved. Although there is wifi connection outside the house, I recommend asking for instructions on how to enter the house from before, in case the wifi is down, since there is no good telephone signal (at least not from Digicel). Communication with Mrs. Alla was good, with prompt response. We would definitely like to return. Highly recommended for getting out of the routine and stress of the city.

Alla and her husband Rene are wonderful people, very attentive, friendly and willing to help you in any way to make your stay at their home feel like you're in your own home. The cleanliness, decoration, ventilation of the house was perfect. Inside, the house is very spacious. The room they offered us was wonderful, the mattress felt almost like being lying on a cloud, the bathroom was magnificent with hot water. Well-equipped kitchen. For a matter of time we could not take advantage of the waterfall, but Alla is willing to show you how to get there. I'm sure, I'd like to go back

Alla's house is beautiful and confortable, just as shown in the pictures. It's all sorrounded by mountains and nature. Alla was very nice to take us to the waterfall near the house, which we really enjoyed. Alla and her husband are very good hosts and made us feel at home all the time. Alla is joyful and very nice to talk with. I would really recommend this place, especially if you want to get away of city life.

Hardly to start... first Altos del Maria is a awesome place to relax and breath good air. Second, the house is beautiful and perfect make, excellente distribution, all clean and organized. And third, but not less important Alla, she is the best anfitrion you may have in this website, she is kind, cute, very sociable, really nice, a great singer, very comunicative, lovely, have 2 beautiful dogs, she was so good person with me, mom and petite dog😊 you wouldnt regret!
