Awesome cozy house! On the photos it looks good, and in real life it is even better! We really enjoyed it. Fast Wi-Fi, parking, AC blowing cold and the deck... and what we really appreciated that it is really quiet compared to Santa Teresa. Last but not least - there is a restaurant right across the street (very convenient) - Doña Teresa . It is terrific! Don't miss it out . In short the house is really good. Book it you won't regret it :)

Nice appartment in a very quite area. Host was also always very helpful with all requests I had. Area is perfect for a little get away from the way more busy area of Santa Teresa. Also, the neighbors are very nice.

Soraya was helpful and prompt in her communication. The home was impeccably clean, fully stocked and in a great location!

The place is more beautiful than what you see in the photos, it is super cozy, quiet, surrounded by nature and 1 min walk to the beach, with one of the best views of Mal Pais. The house is very comfortable and with a modern concept that fits very well with the environment. If you want a place to connect with nature, this is the place.

5 Star Stay at Casa Colette! We really enjoyed our stay at this tranquil, cottage-like, seacan home. The property was modern and very clean, the yard was surrounded by trees and vegetation and was well kept. We loved the short walk to the quiet, secluded beach; a nice change from the bustle in Santa Teresa. We were pleasantly surprised to encounter a family of Capuchin monkey in the trees surrounding the home and heard howler monkey's every morning. Right across the street was Mary's Restaurant and just down the road a beachfront restaurant called Caracolas - I highly recommend both of these restaurants, the food was amazing. All in all, a wonderful stay at this property... located in a quiet area but close to all amenities.

The house was great. Brand new and very spacious and loved how close it was to everything and the beach. Would definitely come back again.

Just stayed a week at Casa Collet and really enjoyed my stay. Soraya was on point with our communication and was very available for any little questions that I had. Check in and check out was a breeze. The accommodation was new, spotless and modern with all the amenities that I needed. The space is located in the residential neighborhood of Mal Pais proper, which I loved because of the peace and quiet. Overall, I had a great stay and would recommend it to any single traveler or couple.

Very nice and clean place, Restaurant Mary's in front is very good food. Small grocery is 500m away. Beach at this spot is very rocky. Santa Theresa beach is 3km away, you can walk but I would suggest you take taxi, its about 10$.

Nice appartement, nice place to stay! The house looks like the pictures. Only the pressure in the shower is not that much. It‘s near the beach. There are many beautiful spots araound. Not far from Santa Teresa, there are a lot of restaurants and bars. I would come again. Very friendly host, good communication!

What a great experience! Soraya is truly a super host! Very accommodating and extremely helpful! We loved every minute we’ve spent at this Airbnb. It’s located a short drive from the town and has an access to a pretty much private beach. We saw howling monkeys and tons of birds there. The home itself is pretty much brand new. It felt like staying in a luxury hotel but in the middle of the jungle. Has a little deck with a swing that we enjoyed every evening. We used the kitchen couple of times to cook fish that we bought at the little fishermen’s village (also 5 min drive from the property). If you don’t want to cook there’s Mary’s restaurant right across the road. Soraya gave us several helpful tips about the area and the beaches that we followed and weren’t disappointed! The fact that it doesn’t have WiFi didn’t bother us because we weren’t there for that. Best surfing beaches are all there - Santa Teresa and Hermosa are 10 min drive away tops. After we checked out we went to the beach and surfed till early afternoon. Soraya let us use pool-side shower at her other property, gave us towels and let us leave car there while we went for lunch. That was super helpful since we had a long drive ahead of us. Basically flawless experience! Places like this one is the reason why we choose Airbnb over hotels every time!

Angel and Soraya are very nice and every time when we had a question they replayed super quick! The place looks exactly like in the pictures, even better! Super clean! At 1 min walk from the beach! Just across the street is an amazing restaurant ( Mary’s) You need to try it!!! Soraya was there for us every time! An amazing host! I highly recommend you their place! SPECTACULAR. This container has everything you need for a luxurious rest. It is a few meters from beautiful beaches and little visited by tourists. It is about 3 km from Playa del Carmen where there are more gastronomic and tourist offerings. In Mal Pais, there are some restaurants, a few sodas and a supermarket, all just a few meters from the container. Soraya helped us with absolutely everything we asked for. We hope to be back soon!
